An adventure along the Yaqui River from the La Estrella Community to the municipality of Soyopa.
Departure from Hermosillo. We will make a brief stop in the capital of fresh cheese, Mazatán, where we can taste this regional product. Take a photo at the cheese monument and let's take a tour of the main square visiting the Parroquia de Guadalupe. We will continue with the journey to the La Estrella Community where we find the majestic Plutarco Elías Calles Dam, electricity generator of the CFE. We will check in at the Hotel and Restaurant Gena; and afterwards we will enjoy a delicious roast meat and a conviviality. Our second day we will start with a breakfast at Restaurant Gena and we will go to the starting point of the kayaks to have fun traveling the Yaqui River from the La Estrella Community to the municipality of Soyopa (25 km, 6 hours approx.). Arriving at Soyopa we will have a meal-gathering; ending we will return to Hermosillo to end the experience. Don’t miss it!
